MELBOURNE CRICKET GROUND

The Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) is one of the most famous sports grounds in Melbourne. It is a place where you make memories and where childhood dreams become reality. However, it is much more than just a place where you can watch games, it can be used for concerts, charity events, dinners and they have open days. It once hosted the Olympic Games and Commonwealth games and is now extremely popular during the AFL Grand Final and the Boxing Day Test.

AFL Grand Final: 25th of September 2021

It is an absolute must to see the Melbourne Cricket Ground when visiting the city. The MCG tour is the only way to get an exclusive and behind-the-scenes experience and it is a great opportunity to learn more about the history and secrets of the ground.

You can also visit the National Sports Museum which brings the history of the MCG and the Melbourne Cricket Club together. There is also an interactive sports gallery called the Game On where visitors can experience what it is like to participate in a game.

Paddock Café and Terrace Café are two beautiful venues located in the MCG where you can enjoy some tasty food and great drinks. The MCG has everything you need to have a great day!

There are multiple ways to get to the MCG from the Pullman & Mercure Albert Park hotel. The first option is to take bus route 246 from Moubray Street/Punt Rd. The second option is to take tram route 64 / 5 / 3 / 16 / 67 / 6 to Federation Square/Swanston Street and transfer to route 75 on Swanston Street/Flinders Street.
